Beyond the Threshold, A Cooperative Dungeon Generator

Beyond the Threshold is a system-agnostic system for generating dungeons of almost any form and size. Relying on a loose definition of dungeon - "any contained adventuring area that is divided into smaller, explorable sections" - the system uses a deck of regular playing cards and a pair of d6*s to generate prompts which can be used to create and populate sprawling dungeon complexes. 

Designed to be used at the table to continuously generate the dungeon as its being explored, Beyond the Threshold includes a plethora of variants to create more complex dungeons - such as rules for determining the presence of secret doors and traps, the types of monsters the room might contain, and even the timing for dungeon-events. It is just as possible, however, to use it during game-prep to create and populate dungeons ready for future exploring.
